Auto-Bäcklund transformations and solitary wave solutions for the nonlinear evolution equation

In the present work, according to the concept of extended homogeneous balance method and with help of Maple, we get auto-Bäcklund transformations for a (2 + 1)-dimensional nonlinear evolution equation. Subsequently, by using these auto-Bäcklund transformation, exact explicit solutions of this equation are obtained.     

Seasonal Changes in Copper and Cobalt Concentrations of Pinus nigra L.,Cedrus libani and Cupressus arizonica Leaves to Monitor the Effects of Pollution in Elazig(Turkey)

The aim of this study is to examine seasonal changes in Cu and Co concentrations of three plant species for monitoring the effects of pollution in Elazig,Turkey.For this purpose,the leaves of the Pinus nigra L.,Cedrus libani and Cupressus arizonica together with soil samples were collected from different points depending on traffic intensity,nearness the city center and cement factory as well as control location during different months of the year.Flame atomic absorption spectrophotometer(FAAS) was used for measurement of the metals in clear digests after the dry ashing method.Copper and Co concentrations were in the ranges from 1.3to 2.6mg.kg-1 and相似文献   

Complexation and transport of amino acid esters and their salts with synthesised chiral novel aza crown ether derivatives

The syntheses of four aza-15-crown-5 ethers bearing phenyl and phenoxymethyl moieties attached to a stereogenic centre on the crown ring were achieved. Macrocycles have exhibited strong binding ability (K_a = 5364–12,969 M^? 1) and modest enantiomeric discrimination towards the enantiomers of amino acid methyl ester salts by UV titration method in CHCl₃ at 25°C. Computer modelling results supported experimental data providing a detailed understanding of the molecular recognition mode between hosts and guests and the likely binding sites involved. Macrocycles were used for chiral discrimination of amino acids in their zwitterionic forms or as potassium and sodium salts in transport experiments across a bulk chloroform membrane with satisfactory selectivity.     

N‐Phenyl‐substituted carbene precursors and their silver complexes: synthesis,characterization and antimicrobial activities

A series of unsymmetrically substituted N‐heterocyclic carbene (NHC) precursors ( 1a , 1b , 1c , 1d , 1e ) were synthesized from the reaction of N‐phenylbenzimidazole with various alkyl halides. These compounds were used to synthesize NHC–silver(I) complexes ( 2a , 2b , 2c , 2d , 2e ). The five new 1‐phenyl‐3‐alkylbenzimidazolium salts ( 1a , 1b , 1c , 1d , 1e ) and their NHC–silver complexes ( 2a , 2b , 2c , 2d , 2e ) were characterized by the ¹H NMR, ¹³C NMR and FT‐IR spectroscopic methods and elemental analysis techniques. Also, the two NHC–silver complexes 2b and 2c were characterized by single‐crystal X‐ray crystallography, which confirmed the linear C―Ag―Cl arrangements. The antibacterial activities of the NHC precursor and NHC–silver complexes were tested against three Gram‐positive bacterial strains (Bacillus subtilis, Listeria monocytogenes and Staphylococcus aureus) and three Gram‐negative bacterial strains (Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae and Pseudomonas aeruginosa) using the microdilution broth method. The NHC–silver complexes showed higher antibacterial activity than the NHC precursors. In addition, silver complexes 2a , 2b , 2c , 2d showed high antibacterial activity against the Gram‐positive bacteria L. monocytogenes and S. aureus compared to the standard, tetracycline. Transfer hydrogenation of aryl ketones with homogeneous ruthenium catalysts containing diazafluorene ligands

Novel cationic ruthenium(II) complexes bearing a 4,5‐diazafluorene unit and p‐cymene as ligands have been synthesised. The complexes were characterised based on elemental analysis and Fourier transform infrared and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopies. The synthesised Ru(II) complexes were employed as pre‐catalysts for the transfer hydrogenation of aromatic ketones using 2‐propanol as both hydrogen source and solvent in the presence of NaOH. All complexes showed high catalytic activity as catalysts in the reduction of substituted acetophenones to corresponding secondary alcohols. The products of catalysis were obtained with conversion rates of between 80 and 99%. Among the seven new complexes investigated, the most efficient catalyst showed turnover frequencies in the range 255–291 h^?1 corresponding to 85 to 97% conversion, respectively.
